Unlike science, art immediately adds something new and unique to existing reality. The creations of artists exist nowhere else other than where they choose to create them.
David started oil painting when he was a junior doctor in the early 1970s. He spent most of his life as a physician and cardiologist. He was happy to retire after disagreeing with how medicine is practised and controlled in the UK.
He now has nobody to direct what colours and shapes he uses in his artwork!
